CCMNI's Songwriting Contest 2008 is the 6th annual songwriting contest hosted by Contemporary Christian Music Network International, founded by Jeff McLaughlin, owner of McLaughlin Music Group International.
1st, 2nd, & 3rd Place Prizes:

o The craft of lyric writing, applying all of the concepts and principles of songwriting to writing Christian music.
o Creative melody writing (you will not need to know how to read music to go through this section).
o Business aspects of songwriting.
o Evaluation of 10 songs.
o This is a 10 phase course which finishes with an examination. Once you graduate the program, you will be given a certificate of completion. The completion of this program will be great to include on your resume' or bio/promo materials as a songwriter.
o Name Recognition: Once you receive your certificate of completion, you will be listed on this website as a songwriter certified by the CSD Network.
o Additional Benefits: Those songwriters who complete the course will be the first songwriters MMGI contacts when searching for songs or co-writing opportunities for the artists and bands that they manage or develop.
