The Indie Short Film Competition has announced the launch of the 2nd annual international short film and video competition for independent filmmakers.
The short film competition is the most innovative international short film and video competition for independent filmmakers worldwide. It offers a unique online competition that focuses on creating opportunities for aspiring filmmakers by bringing support and recognition to the art of creating films.
The short films and videos can be entered into 10 different categories including: comedy, horror/thriller, documentary, music videos, drama, animation, action/adventure, family/children, Sci-Fi and LGBT. Filmmakers can enter as many submissions as they like until Nov. 29.
The winning filmmakers will receive awards and cash prizes along with merchandise and services from the long list of industry sponsors. Winner will be chosen by a judging panel of industry professionals who are seeking out the next generation of talented filmmakers.
The competition is sponsored by Sony Creative Software, Write Brothers, FrameForge 3D Studio, JellyPie Software, Media Services, MovieMaker Magazine, Partners In Rhyme, Blackmagic Design, TwistedTracks.com, BoilerPlate, Post Magazine, SmartSound and United One Productions.
