The Pepsi "60 seconds to Refresh Your World" Movie Competition
Pepsi and MOFILM want to encourage and nurture the art of the short film. Go out with your camcorder (or phone) and put together a video up to 60 seconds in length. This isn't an ad competition but a serious film competition which will culminate at the Barcelona GSMA World Congress in February 2010!It's not the quality of the production that counts but the story and how you put it across!
To get started download the competition brief (English or Español) and then get out there with your camera.
Deadline for submissions is: Feb 1 2010.

Create a 60 second movie to ‘refresh your world’ with one of the following 5 themes:- If Youth Ran The World
- All You Can Do With 1 Dollar, Pound or Euro
- Paint Your World*
- Tomorrow
- Here's To The Crazy Ones
Every film must be exactly 60 seconds long with no brands or product placement (not even Pepsi) - it's NOT an advertising contest!
Prizes
There will be 55 prize winners in total, comprising a Gold, Silver and Bronze in each category. The 5 gold winners will join the Pepsi Mofilm Jury in Barcelona on February 15th where one will be selected as Grand Prize Film Winner.Grand Prize (1 overall winner)
- US$10,000
- Contract to shoot a Pepsi commercial film... with a $20,000 production budget and Academy Award Winning Producer Jon Landau as your co-producer!
Gold Prizes (1 per category)
- Fly with a friend to Barcelona on Feb 15th, 4 days hotel stay and US$2,000 spending money
- Join in the Mofilm awards gala with Jon Landau as host, the Mofilm and Pepsi teams and much more
Silver Prizes (1 per category)
- US$1000 plus a Kodak Zi8 digital video camera
Bronze Prizes (1 per category)
- US$500 plus a Kodak Zi8 digital video camera
Runner-Up Prizes (40 in total)
- 8 runners-up per category will each receive a Kodak Zi8 digital video camera
